This or that?...

I have owned this item for a few months. It was a toss up between this or a central unit. Because of an imminent move I chose this. I do not regret my choice. Compared to other "leading" vacuums this one is very well made. Once you hold the handle and give it a whirl you will understand the price. It is quiet with great suction. The power head is very powerful. The wide floor brush very wide but super manouverable, you will spend less time cleaning. The attachments are easy to use and well made. The wand telescopes easily for use during vacuuming and storing. If you like things that work well, are intuitive and well built then this is for you.
If, after using this, you ever have to use another portable vacuum, you will realize how spoiled you truly are. -

Can't be without one! Don't know how we'd be able to keep this busy household clean? Great for after meal crumb clean-up, pet hair, etc. Long hose allows easy reach for cob webs; spiders; bugs; dust, in this old house with high ceilings. How else would you suck the dirt out from the hardwood floor? Light enough for the kids to use!!

Works on slate too!...

I purchased one of these after hearing it on the local radio station. My house is pretty much hardwood, but slate in the kitchen and ceramic in the bathrooms. This thing is amazing! Goodbye swifter wetjet. I just used hot water and couldn't believe how much it picked up from the hardwood. It picked up all the silt and sand in the grooves too. It does a great job on slate too! After doing a slow deep clean on the slate, I went over it again and the water was coming back clean. That never happened with the old cleaning pads. Feels good knowing the floors are actually clean, not just look like it. You won't be disappointed
