Sweep and Groom Rugmaster Vacuum Power Head

Received excellent service from McHardy Vacuum. The Sweep n Groom replaced an older Beam Rugmaster power head. It gets the job done, and the canister is full of debris after vacuuming. So I'm happy to be "back in business". However, the newer unit feels lighter and more sluggish compared to the original power head.

The old beater head died and I tossed it out. Many unsuccessful trips to different retail stores finally drove me online to find what I thought would be a common part. McHardy remotely identified exactly the parts I needed and they arrived within a few days. The vacuum head (and later wand components) are working better than the original. The thank-you notes included with my order were a rare treat in the days of impersonal order-filling.

The first power head I ordered didn't fit the vacuum so I emailed McHardy and received a prompt response with a pre-paid shipping label for return, along with a recommendation for what would work with our particular vacuum. It is going to fit just fine and though it hasn't been used yet (it's for our son) I have the same model and have been very pleased with it. I would highly recommend McHardy for their speedy service and ease of return and refund for the product that didn't fit.

Purchased as a replacement for a Beam central vac. This is better than the original power head.

After over 20 years using the original Beam power head,found the Sweep n Groom. Read the reviews and bought one. Glad I did. It works better than the original. Would definitely recommend this power head.

This replaces my Beam perfectly and it is very powerful. I received the product within 10 days during Christmas time which is impressive.

after having my old power head for 20+ years I am overjoyed at this new power head the power and ease of using it is wonderful ... it almost seems to want to do the job by itself .. the price was very fair and reasonable compared to what I would have paid locally I was very pleased at how quickly it was delivered and my cleaning has been made much easier and quicker now ...

We were disappointed when our previous power head died. Looking at our local store we found the exact same model as this but at a considerably higher price. We ordered online here and paid a fair price and had it delivered to our door. We are very pleased with the product and the service.

I can tell you that this power head truly works great, it had my 13 yo daughter chasing it around the room. Great price and works great. Why a four and not a five, only thing my wife didn't like is that it left racing stripes in the shag due to the styling of the bottom of the head, for me its just nice to have our vacuum back!! Also delivery and customer service top notch!! Right down to a thank you card inserted with our product .... nice touch.
