Got this one to replace the powerhead on a new Miele Totalcare. While the powerhead it came with is good, my mother has arthritis in her hands which makes it hard to grip and push the wand. This power head is so powerful it barely needs any push and will clean anything. Love the adjustable carpet height as we have a variety of different carpets in our house. The light makes it easy to clean under furniture. Highly recommend if you're looking to upgrade!

I bought this powerhead because the SEB217 that came with my Miele Blizzard wasn’t enough for my thicker carpets. I’m glad I did though, because it is not only easier to push on the thicker carpets, but does a better job overall than my old one. The headlight is surprisingly useful even in fairly well lit rooms, and the fact it stands up on its own is great. It is a bit heavier and harder to manoeuvre but it’s a worthwhile trade off. I would highly recommend it if you have thicker carpets or just aren’t satisfied with the smaller powerhead.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my SEB-217 power head. While the 217 did the job, this unit a big step up. The increased width makes vacuuming go significantly faster. The stiff bristles do a great job of standing up the fibres on my short pile carpet. The headlight is very bright and well aimed. I also appreciate that this unit incorporates the same swivel joint as the SEB-217, making it easy to manoevre; a critical feature, as this power head is somewhat heavier. The only feature I didn't appreciate was the auto shut-off when the wand is raised to near vertical. When going into confined spaces where there isn't room to tilt the wand, I find the unit unexpectedly shuts off until I lower the wand back down. This is a minor quibble, as I can work around it with careful placement. Mchardy shipped this unit in record time, and the hand-written thank-you postcard was a nice touch! The power head is a monster! It really pulls nicely on a very plush carpet. Lots of power and it feels really solid. Ordering and delivery was exceptional. I ordered and had included a question about fit - they answered me almost immediately and it arrived the next day. Better than Amazon!

I was going to order the 219.00 vacuum head. Mchardys didnt have it in stock so upgraded me to this one. I LOVE IT! It works great. It is very heavy duty. I am glad I purchased it.

I purchased this accessory for my Miele S5 Cat & Dog model and couldn't be more pleased. It's a great complement to the SEB217-3 that came supplied with the unit. We use it to deep clean the carpets. It really gets the cat fur and grooms the carpet to a beautiful finish.
