Miele SEB228 Power Head Vacuum Cleaner Attachment

Have been using this attachment and the floor adjustment button still sticks and is difficult to move to the next number. It does a good job once I can adjust the floor-level tab. I'm not sure if all SEB228 power heads are this difficult to adjust, but very disappointed with this feature.

Works well on our soft plush carpet. The other head our vacuum came with got too bogged down. The adjustability is great.

With our new home, we went with a a high pile carpet. Great carpet, but the powerhead that came with our Miele had no adjustable height and couldn't suction the carpet and make the piles stand up. With the adjustable height, I can now vacuum with ease and run the Miele at the highest suction level. Carpet looks great.

Purchased this power head as I found the one that came with the vacuum a little hard on my back. Excellent choice ! Now I vacuum with very little effort and the power head picks up dog hair and dirt very well. Highly recommend this product and the service from McHardys is excellent (plus you'll be hard pressed to find a better price.

This head is amazing. It practically runs itself! I have two dogs who both shed and for the last year(since getting carpet) I have struggled trying to scrub it out with a regular head. Usually takes a long time of going over and over but with the Power head it takes only a few minutes and 1 pass and its gone!! so happy with my purchase and the exceptional service I've received from McHardys!! will never buy from another place again. I love this power head! I have 2 dogs that shed during the spring months and it's a real chore keeping a clean house during this time. This powerhead attached to my powerful Miele bluestar helps me with this task tremendously. I have medium berber carpet in the bedrooms and after I'm done vacuuming there really is no hair in sight. I have to go over certain spots a few times but that's no big deal and it's because my dogs are crazy shedders. It certainly does pick up all the lint from socks. I Love it!

The broadloom in my new house seems to be made of velcro! I have a black dog and I often wear black sports socks that shed bits of fluff like crazy. I never had a problem in my previous homes with the powerhead that originally came with my Miele, but it just couldn't get all the dog hair and fluff off this broadloom no matter how many times I went over it. I spent a lot of time picking it off by hand or going over the carpet with a lint brush. The SEB228 powerhead is absolutely amazing! It really gets down into the broadloom and doesn't leave any dog hair or fluff behind! Even though it costs as much as some vacuums, it is worth every penny.

Delighted with this product for cleaning our deeper carpets. The power head that came with the vacuum was very difficult to use on our new carpets. This head is much wider and heavier than the original but much to our delight it has 5 adjustments and pulls the head along making vacuming less work. It does not have the tab that allows you to store it on the vacuum but it does stand upright by itself. It does not have light but we never vacuum in the dark. All in all, a great attachment.
