Miele Compact C2 Cat and Dog Canister Vacuum Cleaner

We have had this vacuum for a year now, finally changing the HEPA filter, which reminded me to come to the place I bought it. Its worth writing a review, because I have been very impressed. This unit is lightweight, versatile and great on hardwood floor with the Parquet brush. MAKE SURE TO UPGRADE TO THE PARQUET if you are doing floors, its FAR superior to the crappy one that comes in the box(they should just make the parquet the standard!) Would recommend this vacuum, and the people at McHardy vacuum. Given the great price and service we received, we will return to them for our Miele gear and have recommended them on more than one occasion. Its nice to deal with a Canadian dealer!! Moving from a cheap vacuum to this as real vacuum was very pleasant. This is very light, very powerful, and I don't even use the power head as often as I would have expected (always used it on the old vacuum since it had such poor suction apparently). We have a smaller sized house, back-split level, and mostly hardwood/tile, though we do have some area rugs throughout (one is shag), and low pile carpet in the bedrooms. This obviously does all the hardwood fine, but as I said it even seems to do a good enough job on our low-pile and area rugs without the powerhead (and with the powerhead it's fantastic on those). I just like not having to lug the powerhead up the stairs all the time. I'd buy this one again, and most importantly the customer service here has been outsanding (some of the best in any industry that I've experienced). Very satisfied customer!

After using this for about 5 months, I have to say its the best vacuum I've ever had. I have 2 cats and have never seen my floor cleaner. The free shipping was extremely fast - I received it 2 days after I placed the order. Great experience with McHardy Vacuum.

I used to be a very big fan of Miele even when their vaccums weighed a ton. However I recently purchased the Miele S6 Dimension vaccum and was extremely disappointed with the fact that it does not come with a suction release valve. With the great suction this vaccum has you need some release even on the lowest dial. It's too bad as I would have recommended Miele to everyone.

I have hardwood floors and area rugs . Have a MieleS2 Airclean which is great on the hardwood but not for the rugs. An older vacuum I have with a power head isn't much better and very noisy. Thinking I could get a powerhead for the S2, after seeing the cost of head plus hose etc I decided I would be better off buying a new cleaner. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and looking for best price when I found myself on McHardy's website. Within a minute or so a chatbox popped up so I asked if it was possible to get the SBB-300 brush instead of the SBB235-3. Graham answered, absolutely and was extremely helpful to me. He advised me it would be an extra 10$, he also advised me to email Rebecca after I placed my order as she would be processing the order. I mailed Rebecca and she was also very helpful. I also received a card from Rebecca, which was a nice touch. Free shipping was much faster than expected. The S6 Dimension Plus is everything I hoped it would be, my rugs look fabulous again. It is very quiet and has a longer cord than the A2 which is a huge bonus. The SBB-300 brush is very manoeuverable, am very happy with it. The McHardy staff were a pleasure doing business with and I would heartily recommend them.

Best vacuum I've ever owned/used. It's small, and mobile. The handle (electric brush) is a bit heavy, but very effective since you only need to cover an area once. You can tell this is a high quality built machine with everything fitting together perfectly and does not have that cheap feel like so many other vacuums. Buying from McHardy's was a great experience as well. Best price I could find, and fast shipping. An excellent experience overall!!!

I am so impressed with McHardy's knowledge of vacuums and customer service and I love my vacuum!! Compact, solid, easy to manage, does a great job on carpet and floors. I recommend the S6 to anyone who has storage issues, pets and need a good all purpose vacuum. Bravo McHardy and Miele!

This vacuum is everything I hoped it to be. After much research and reading reviews I decided on the Miele and I am so glad I did. The vacuum is compact easy to cart around, light weight and amazing suction. As for the service at McHardy Vac, I don't think they could have done anything more.
