Smart cleaning just got better with the Roomba j7+ and built in machine learning AI powered by iRobot Genius. Based upon cleaning habits the j7+ learns the busy schedule of the house and offers personalized cleaning recommendations, including extra cleaning when local pollen counts are high and during pet shedding season. Additionally, the j7+ can be programmed to only clean when you are away from the home and to stop when you return so the cleaning cycle is never interrupting your day.

Precision Vision Navigation uses a forward facing camera, instead of a top mounted camera, for advanced hazard identification. This includes being able to avoid power cords and solid pet messes. AI and machine learning helps to avoids common obstacles and increases cleaning ability with each cleaning cycle. If the j7+ encounters an object, or area it encounters an issue with, an image will be sent via the iRobot Home app and requests a review of the item. From here the area can be marked as a temporary obstacle, manually marked as not being an obstacle, or have a Keep Out Zone added.

Once the Roomba j7+ starts cleaning the home it generates a Smart Map which is visible in the iRobot Home App. This allows you to label rooms, schedule cleanings for targeted areas, set up virtual boundaries, and Clean Zones within a larger room. With this, general cleaning schedules can be created to clean the entire home at once, or very specific cleaning tasks can be created - like vacuuming under the dinning table every night. With notifications enabled in the iRobot Home app you will receive an alert if the j7+ vacuum gets stuck while on a cleaning run.

Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes are ideal for lifting pet hair out of carpet surfaces and also work on barefloor surfaces. They are counter-rotating, meaning they spin in opposite directions towards each other, to better guide debris into the bin. Since they are made of rubber and not with traditional bristles it prevents hair or string from building up on the bars. For a thorough clean the Edge Sweeping brush pushes debris into the cleaning path ensuring the floor is cleaned from wall to wall. When the Roomba j7+ encounters a heavily soiled area the Dirt Detect mode will engage and the robot will move back and forth over the area until the sensors detect the area has been thoroughly cleaned.

By using the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal you can forget about cleaning for up to 60 days. The Roomba j7+ cleans up after itself by transferring the dirt in the onboard collection cup into the vacuum bag ensuring that it's ready for the next cleaning task without the need to manually empty the cup after every cleaning cycle.
