I have used Forever New for delicates and as a travel wash for many years. It dissolves readily. But, for a frequent wash, the scent -- though pleasant -- is rather overpowering for my taste. The packaging of this shipment in a polythene bag is impractical. I have had to decant into a Ziploc box. McHardy Response: Thanks for posting your review! Have you tried to reduce the amount of detergent per load? We have found that, like Persil, you don't have to use the full recommendation depending on the soil level of your wash load. And regarding the packaging, was your bag damaged inside the shipping box? If so we'd like to know. Thanks again!

This is a great detergent! I use it for all of my washing! It makes my wool sweaters look brand new! Even older sweaters come back to life! I prefer the powder rather than the liquid.
