The reason it works so well is because of the rubber teeth that grab the pet hair without clogging the attachment.  The wide surface area of the tool also helps prevent hair build up so it will clean your furniture and carpeted stairs with ease.  This wonderful attachment is proudly made in Canada.

Sizing:

This product fits all types of vacuum cleaners that use common fit-all attachments (1 1/4" inner diameter of attachment opening).  To verify if your vacuum is this size, first determine if your extension wand or hose handle fits inside your attachments and not outside.  Then, measure the inside where the wand or hose handle fits into the tool.

This includes most brands such as Beam, Bissell, Bosch, Broan, Cana Vac, Dirt Devil, Drain Vac, Durabrand, Dyson, Electrolux, Electron, Eureka, Euro Pro, Fantom, Frigidaire, GE, Hoover, Kenmore, Kirby, Miracle Mate, Nutone, Panasonic, Royal, Sanyo, Sebo, Shark, Vacuflo and many others.     Bought this for our German Shepheard, and it seems to work okay. It works well as you brush the dog, the loosened hair gets sucked up, but I don't think it does that good of a job getting the undercoat. Maybe if the rubber teeth were longer metal pins it would work better on our German Shepheard. I could see this brush working better on a shorter haired breed.

    Works well, had to fiddle to get it to fit my vacuum but nothing major. Have to occasionally clear the combs

    HI, my name is Lily, I'm a golden retriever. I love my hair brush, I get so excited when I hear the vacuum cleaner start that I run to get brushed before anything else is done, it feels soooooooo good. Besides taking away any loose hair, you get a great massage,I think every dog should have one. Dr. Smith's pet hair brush also saves your owner from more housework. If you are not afraid of the vacuum, I think you will like it too.
