We have gone through 2 plastic inlets in the past 3 years. This is much better quality.

I retrofitted our older home with a central vacuum system. One of the outlets needed to be installed on the main floor hardwood where the standard plastic inlet would not be appropriate. I found McHardy Vacuum on line and called to ask a couple of questions and place the order. The person I spoke with was very helpful and even called me back a couple of days later with an additional installation tip. The package was received on the date promised and I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The installation was straightforward and the Inlet looks great on the hardwood floor. I would highly recommend this product and McHardy Vacuum for their knowledge and customer service.

Had to replace a 30-year old outlet with spring flap that "died". This new one fit perfectly and was easily connected to old wiring and hose. No replacing the old system!
